I've never made an apron before and I've never made (or wanted to make) ruffles before. This isn't really what I imagined I'd come up with for my first Tie One On entry but that's what it is - my first, so I'm trying not to be too harsh with myself. I will probably look back and cringe, but hey ho.
It's made out of a pair of Gap boxer shorts that were supposed to be a gift for my husband and two of his very old work shirts. Click here to see the original boxers (I forgot to take a picture of the shirts).

(Can anyone tell me how to put buttons on my blog? Kath told me how so I could put a SPT one on, but it didn't work and I don't know why! I'd really like a Tie One On, an SPT and a Postcard Swop button on the page. Please help!)
