I think it's turning...
I don't want to jinx myself here, but I think the tide really may be turning for the McGrory-Patton household. Jim is still getting job offers (can you see that swagger??) and his redundancy offer has proven to be better than we had dared hope. I am also feeling a teeny tiny bit more hopeful about the future size of our family (just in the sense that I'm not quite as steadfast on the decision that we made a couple of months ago). And the sun keeps shining.
It's on the turn, folks, I can feel it.
So, what do you think? Are we bored of yellow yet? If the answer is yes, then fret not, I've got some red coming tomorrow. But in the mean time, I do love a good theme (did I ever mention my addictive personality? Have you seen our Playmobil collection??) so here's the latest sunny offering.
I took the quilting a step further with this cushion by quilting the linen as well as the cotton pieces.
I'm really happy with the textural quality of the quilted linen. It's incredibly tactile.
I'm also still loving the combination of the hand binding and the plain linen backing.

It's in the shop now.
i'm with you all the way on the sunny side of the road...you deserve a turn for the better + it's starting to happen for you : )
so much gorgeousness in your shop...your work gets more + more great everyday...i love it! x

I'm so glad things in your life are turning for better. We can feel your hapiness now. About your colours: I like yellow, I like red and I like any colour you choose because everything turns beautiful.

Ah, doesn't everything happen for a reason, and doesn't everything turn out just fine.
Glad to hear things are looking up and you never know what might be just around the corner.
I love the yellow (and yes I would have chosen the red bag to go with the outfit as well)

Keep bringing out the yellow for a while longer please! But red's nice, so is blue, and green, and pink ...
I like the quilted linen effect. Good idea!
