White Christmas?
It wasn't so much a white Christmas around here as a pink one.
We had lots of this...

Followed by even more of this....
Then there was pretty much only this....
A pair of feet and the occasional shout for another toy to be passed in to her.
And when we finally dragged her out, there was a visit to the Grandparents and yet more of this...
I would love to say that we were successful at instilling the true spirit of Christmas in to her, but we weren't. It was about the presents. And yet more presents. And that's ok. As a rule Bella doesn't get very much, she honestly has less toys than all of her friends, which is fine, but it was definitely time to spoil her. And we definitely succeeded in that.
We did manage almost the entire day without any tantrums though. In fact the only one was late in the evening on the drive home, when Bella came up with a plan... she would hang her stocking up again and Father Christmas would fill it up some more! She didn't take our explanation of "just once a year" very well. But hey, I don't blame her!
All in all, it was a quiet day, but I'm pretty sure that Bella had a great time, and that's the whole point.
Right now, it's very early morning, and everyone else is still asleep (M-P2 gets bored if I stay in bed too long), and I'm looking forward to another quiet day. Tomorrow, life gets back to normal with a visit to the hospital and then I think it's time to actually start preparing for our next big event! Yikes.
My girls were thoroughly spoilt too and I love it!!. We're going to clean out the cupboards now to make room for all the new goodies and give the old ones to a women's refuge. They think it's a fantastic idea and they know their old stuff is going to children who often don't have anything. I wish you a little r&r before the big event - can you imagine your future Christmases with two giggling pink little girls?!

I never noticed the scale of Bellas stocking before! Just wait until you have to start filling it as a teenager.Their presents get smaller and more expensive!!
Hope you had a great day.We have a day of playing today.(oh yes an getting the house back to 'normal' after 20+ guests yesterday!!)I can't wait to share my pressie with you! You will be as excited as me I think!!!

Merry Christmas to you all - looks like a certain little girl had lots of fun! I hadn't realised the scale of Bella's stocking either - I think I will have to make some for next year as father christmas gave up on trying to fill my Dad's socks (an ancient family tradition - never broken!) and went upstairs and pinched some of Mum's pillow cases this year! The children were amazed! Lucy x

Oh how cute! My little one came and woke us screaming "Santa came again!" "Oh no no no" we said "Those gifts are for other people" (that we have not seen yet) Then at breakfast in the sweetest little voice she could muster..."Shall we have Christmas again Mommy?" God love the little ones, but it is all about the gifts at this age.

That is a pretty big stocking! Maybe every year, you could take in the seams, and shrink it slowly...

She's too adorable! I love all the pink--it is so much prettier than red...LOL!
Happy Holidays!

Oh how sweet that she wanted her stocking refilled. I had to laugh at that one. I am sure we all would love that. It is nice for little girls to love pink, although my daughter has now grown out of pink and prefers light blue/aqua colors now. It makes a nice change. Hope you all have a very happy new year too, which I am sure will be very exciting for you all too with your new baby not far away now.
