Pink and grEy

Our kitchen is often (almost always) a mess, with various bits and pieces left lying around. Most of the time it drives me a little nuts. But occasionally I look up and notice that some of it is actually quite pretty. And sometimes the mess even coordinates. Which is nice.
And sometimes it leads to a fabric purchase (it doesn't take much)...

(Happy Kristy?? And Christine, the fabric can be found here .)
Any excuse!

That fabric is so pretty. Simple and dramatic at the same time. Would you have to use it as a large piece so you didn't lose the effect? I have a screen that it would look lovely on. - Jen

That must be Bella's artwork on the wall--she's a very promising young artist.

I love that fabric. I have it in yellow and I can't stop looking at it! In fact I think yellow is my new favourite colour and I'm hoping there might be a yellow pin cushion in your shop soon!

Wow! That fabric is stunning, it would make a fantastic wallpaper for a feature wall. It just needs birdsong playing in the background - like that new radio station!

Gray is an accepted ethnic variant. Change the title back and ban Kristy for life. That'll learn her.

This is a post after my own heart. I've just started a month of paying hommage to the colour grey on my own blog believe it or not! (Which is a weird Spring activity, granted, but inspiration, as you so rightly show, comes from the most unexpected places!)

That's an Alexander Henry print? I'd love to know more about it. RepoDepot seems to be out of it. :-(
Love the painting! There's too many boys in my house, pink is pretty much banned.
