We had such a good time in Jersey that we're all a little sad to be back. Not that we haven't hit the ground running.

No sooner were we back, then we were dropping the girls off at mum and dad's so that Jim and I could attend a truly wonderful Bar Mitzvah. Followed swiftly by destroying the girls bedroom (oh the pain) so that we could fit in the speedily acquired bunk beds, that have suddenly become a necessity.

Because on our very first night away, Lily decided that she is now most definitely a big girl and started sleeping in a bed! Apparently with no intention of returning to her cot! Cue a trip to Ikea at the first possible moment and hey presto, bunk beds! (and a completely wrecked bedroom...grrrrr)

Back to work tomorrow though. Not that I'm complaining. But it was so very lovely to be away.
