The pear fabric is a Japanese print that I bought a couple of years ago from the Festival of Quilts (I think) and the red gingham is once again from Fabrics Galore.
I've lined the bodice with the grey circle (again) and because the pear print felt a little thin (it's a lightish weight quilting cotton) I've sewn in a red gingham underskirt.
This one's a gift for a four year old with quite strong opinions on what she'll wear (I know that problem all too well), so I'm just keeping fingers crossed that she'll like it. But thanks to Lily, I totally understand if not. I once cried when Bella didn't like a dress I made for her. I now scoff at the idea of indulging such sensitivities!
