I think it might be fair to say that I'm working harder than I've ever worked before. Taking part in the Country Living Xmas Fair is not cheap and is in fact the biggest financial risk I've ever taken. Which means that I need to make sure that I have enough stock to (hopefully, hopefully) make the costs back (I daren't think of profit!). And of course one of the downsides to being a designer/ maker is that as well as designing everything, I have to also make everything.
The downside to having such a huge deadline is the stress and worry of not being able to make enough stock in time (and the lack of sleep). But the upside is that it's finally focused me enough to work on some stuff that's been half finished or floating around on scraps of paper for as long as a couple of years.
As well as the woodland creatures, I will also be introducing my new collections of mirrors, key rings and badges at the fair, and a few other smaller items. Of course there will also be Princess and the Pea Sets, Treefall Bunnys, Xmas stockings, bibs and clothing.
Hopefully...
