The preparation for the Country Living Christmas Fair started in earnest 3 weeks before the show. Although I had been slowly planning and ordering in preparation for a good few months, the main stuff was done in the 3 week build up to the actual show.
And obviously there was lots of sewing involved, but there was also...
lots of list writing.
Lots.
New professional labels ordered and sewn in.
Finalising the stand design. Followed by last minute re-designing after re-reading the exhibitors manual properly! (that involved a minor lapse of good humour on my part).
A middle of the night stand mock up in the sitting room, a la Amy Butler, but on a much, much, much smaller and less impressive scale!
Culminating in a four hour drive, followed by a 2 hour wait in a queue to unload the van and a 4 hour set up.
