I'm in the last few weeks of preparation for The Contemporary Craft Festival down in Bovey Tracey, which means lots of very late nights and working 7 days a week. Every year I say I'm going to get ahead of myself and every year I find myself scrabbling to get every thing done in the last few weeks before a big show.
That doesn't mean that I haven't made a little time for the nice things. I've saved all my hand sewing to do at the weekends, so that I'm not locked away in the studioo and can still enjoy a coffee (although in this case it was tea in one of my favourite tea pots) and croissant with Jim.
I also managed a quick visit to a carboot sale, while on my way out for a run (multi-tasking at it's best), which was a bit of a wash out, except for these fantastic zips.
We had our first BBQ of the year too, which was also a wash out, due to rain. Not that it stopped us from using our lovely new green BBQ though.
With less than 3 weeks to go, I'm not sure that they'll be quite as much relaxation this weekend.
