Time is a crazy, crazy thing. We all remember what it felt like when we were younger, when the days seemed to stretch on and on with no respite. What it felt like to feel that 'forever' really did exist.
And I wonder when that changes? Was it in my twenties? Or did I turn thirty before I realised that time is no longer my toy to play with? But instead belongs to them. The younger generation. The kids that I look at and see as my peers, whilst they're looking back at a middle aged women.
There is just no time anymore. I have a million things that I want to do every day and most of the time I don't even get as far as listing them yet alone doing them.
And one of the things that I want to do is reply to all your comments and emails. I hate the fact that you take the time to reach out to me and in return it can seem like I'm ignoring you. I'm really not. I just have only so much time and can not achieve all that I want to. I'm sorry and frustrated about that.
So if you've asked me a question recently and I haven't yet responded, please don't think that I couldn't be bothered. I will respond, it just may take some time.
And whilst you're waiting, I thought I'd make the time to show you my new Japanese Craft books.
They're both about girls clothes and I'm determined I'm going to work out how to use the patterns! Especially now that I've got pockets up my sleeve (so to speak).
This first one is for slightly older children and is just stunning to look at.
It's worth it alone just for the photography.
Actually this one reminds me of photo's that my sister-in-law took of my nephew - she's a fantastic photographer and she should have an Etsy shop! You hear that Juliet? In that spare millisecond that you have, you should set up a shop and sell your work!
The isbn is 978-4-579-11136-7.
This next one is for babies up to about two and is equally beautiful to look at.
The grumpy kid just kills me!
The isbn is 978-4-579-11100-8.
I recommend both these books, just not based on how good the patterns are, because I haven't got a clue!
